This policy describes the four major components of the Emergency Preparedness Plan as outlined by CMS. These guidelines describe emergency preparedness systems to safely meet needs, in a consistent manner, of patients and staff during disasters and emergency situations and to maintain operations, respond to any emergency and have priority patients identified and their needs met as expediently as possible. Available in home health or hospice versions.
